Day 11 | Bible Reading/Memorization 3

Psalm 85:8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly.

OBSERVATION

You are probably thinking… bit of a typo. Who has your ir? The Ir gene controls the immune response to anything that enters the body. What will help us to handle every situation that enters our life? The Word of God. There is a lot of noise in our world. Are we hearing what God speaks to us? This will greatly affect how we handle anything that enters our lives. God speaks to us in prayer and worship and through reading His Word! If you hear what God speaks to you, He will speak peace, understanding and blessing into your life. God might be saying to you… hear Me out! Hear me out of your depression. Hear me out of your fear. Hear me out of your anxiety.

APPLICATION

Give God your ear. What could it mean to give him your ir? What we give our ir to controls how we react to anything that enters our life. Give your ir to your issues, failures, and times you were done wrong. How does that make you feel? IRrelevant! Give your ir to God. God’s Word says You are precious to God and God knows where we are, what we face and how we feel about it. You are not irrelevant, you are relevant! Things happen and we give our ir to doubt or fear. In our minds, this is IRreparable! God’s word shows if it’s broken, He can fix it. Give your ir to God’s Word. What seems to be irreparable becomes reparable. This goes with the words IRreversible and IRredeemable. We’ve all failed. You might feel your failures are irreversible and you are irredeemable. God’s Word says God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Irredeemable is not a word that describes you. When we don’t control the ir… IRrelevant, IRreparable, IRreversible, IRredeemable… we feel these apply to us. But, when we give God our ir… God lets us know that we are IRreplaceable. The question is this… who has your ir?

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for the love You have not only said You have for me… but You have shown it to me! Help me to hear what You would say for my life about who I am, and what I can do and have and be. Father God, I give you my ear and my IR!
